Streamer.Bot for Productivity Boost

With Streamer.Bot, I can automate various aspects of my co-working streams that not only improve my productivity, but improve my viewers’ experience as well.

Streamer-only TTS

With Speaker.bot, I am able to hear Text-To-Speech audible only to myself, not to stream.

The TTS tells me whenever someone redeems a channel reward such as “hydrate”, so I can know about fulfill channel redeems without focusing on my Twitch chat.

The TTS also notifies me about events such as raids and viewers’ watch streaks.

Streamer.Bot Integrated Pomodoro Timer

With my pomodoro timer widget, not only can it be connected with YouTube and Kick chat, but it can also control the scenes of my OBS between working scene and my break scene.

It also enables channel redeems that would be distracting during work time, such as squats. Those distracting channel rewards get disabled when work time starts again.

Task Bot

My Task Bot is powered using Streamer.Bot, compatible with YouTube and Kick chat.

It can handle multiple tasks, all are local, and commands are managed through Streamer.Bot too. You can adjust the permissions of the task commands available from regular chatters, VIPs, subscribers, mods to streamer-only etc.

Timer Messages

This feature is similar to StreamElements’ timer messages, where messages occur from time-to-time in chat. I created my own timer messages system that would sometimes explain what the co-working stream is, explaining some quirks in the stream as well. For example, some messages would talk about what pomodoro is, how to use the task bot, why the streamer is not constantly monitoring the chat etc.

Auto-Shoutout

This isn’t necessarily co-working related, but I guess when I’m not monitoring chat often, auto-shoutouts are pretty handy.

I made it so that a streamer, who is on my user list, gets a shoutout only after 3 messages in a stream. This is because I had experiences where small streamers who are on my list just type “!lurk”, get a shoutout, and often never engages in any conversations at all.

Every time I shoutout a streamer, they get added to the list of people who get auto-shoutout automatically starting from the next stream.

My Thoughts

I believe that stream automation tools can be very helpful during co-working streams, allowing you to level up your productivity too.
